Wisdom Tooth Operation, Food and Ulcers

Something happened last Friday which set off a chain of events leading up to today. This is what happened:

2000 - 2400hrs: 16th Oct, Last Friday

The Beginning

Around 7+, 8pm that faithful night, my normally over-sensitive tooth @ the rear of the right side of my jaws started giving me problem. Normally the pain will subside after a while or after i brush my teeth. However, not this time. The pain persists all the way into the night and even after my KTV session with my friends (Ah Fats and Terence San).

2400hrs - 0300 hrs: 16th Oct, Last Friday Night

Sleepless Night

Popped 2 Panadol before heading off to bed. However, the sleep wasn't as calm as hope. The pain was so bad that I woke up in the middle of the night @ 3am to take 2 more pills.

0800 – 1200hrs: 17^th Oct, Saturday

Appointment & Badminton

The first think I did in the morning when I woke up was to google for a Dental Clinic that is open on Saturday. Managed to make an appointment for 12 noon.

Why 12 noon but not earlier??? That is because I have a badminton game arranged @ 10am that morning with my JC Classmate.

The people who turned up for the game was kinda random. They were all friends of friends etc. Even Uncle and Aunt of one of my friend’s friend turned up. What’s funnier was this conversation that I had with this guy. The conversation started off as a really standard one. We touched on area such as where do you live and how we both came to know my common friend. However, the interesting part came about when I asked him what is doing now, working or studying etc. Initially I thought that that I didn’t understand what he was saying etc. All I heard or thought I heard was the word ‘porridge.’ However, upon confirming with another random guy there, I realised that I did not hear it wrongly. The guy’s occupation is selling ‘frog leg porridge.’

1200-1300: 17^th Oct, Saturday

Consultation

Nothing special really. Just did some filling and also got convinced by the Dentist to go for my Wisdom tooth operation the following day.

1830-1730: 18^th Oct, Sunday

D-Day

This is an exciting Day. The op started with 4 injections into my gums and inner cheek to numb the area. It wasn’t so bad. It was followed by an X-Ray. What came after was kinda unexpected. The X-Ray showed that my wisdom tooth is really near to the nerve that is running below. What followed was kinda funny and scary @ the same time.

The Dentist asked me “can you feel the numbness in ur lip etc now?”

Me: Ya

Dentist: “Well, I have a bad news for you. Can you see the black line running below your teeth? That is the nerve. So, can you see that the nerve is very near to your wisdom tooth? Well, the numbness you are feeling could very well be temporary or permanent should there be any damage to the nerve in the op.

The op went rather well despite of the little scare before the op. My tooth seems like a tough nut to crack though. The Dentist seems to be having problems pulling out the tooth, even after splitting it into half. I felt like my jaws was about to fall off then.

23rd Oct, Friday

Ulcers

The ulcers finally came. And not just one or two. There are so many of them that I gie up counting also. It hurts much more than the post op pain. There are ulcers all the way from my lips to the back of my throat. Damn! I had been taking painkillers to ease the pain but it ain’t really helping so far. L

Just hope that the pain goes away soon. Well, to some extend I deserve it too. Why so? Cos I haven’t been watching what I eat after the op. I even went to Jumbo seafood with my friend 2 days back and had Mee Rebus yesterday.

Oh well, tomorrow’s the day for the stitches to go off and maybe another possible Molar extraction or Root Canal treatment which will take off one month of my pay. So yup, I’m just screwed, that it, period! L

Matthijs and Eva Comes to Singapore

It's coming to half a year since I came back from my international exchange program over @ Austria last summer 2008. Things have been rather hectic every since i came back from my exchange program due to school work, my new found CCA (secretary of the Music interactive Club) and also the involvement in my 2nd OCIP (overseas community involvement project) to Gui Zhou 贵州, China.

Hardly do i have much time to think about my exchange experience. Pictures had been 'put' aside and stored in my external harddisk, making way for new picture taken during the new term, CCA and OCIP.

2 friends, Eva and Matthijs, who attended the same school as me during my Exchange in Asutria came to visit Singapore during the CNY period. It made me realise that somehow, the interactions between the friends i made then and me had dwindled to almost nothing. Is this just what life is all about? You get to know a bunch of friends, get along, spend great time and moments together and then comes the time to go separate ways in life and the so called 'friendship' somehow take a step back and with time diminishes.

Bond59's Chalet 2009!!

Well, my december holiday passed in a blink of the eye. The one month in China is really well spent. Really enjoyed myself over there. Made many new friends as well as seen many lovely things. Learnt many things as well.

Anyway, that is not the point of this entry. This entry is on the once in a year Bond59's Chalet (well, i hope it's gonna be a one in a year thingy).

Didn't really have much time to prepare for this chalet. I haven't really settle down back into school life and i have to go on another 'retreat'. However, the chalet does turns our pretty well. Kinda nice getting back to old days of talking rubbish, slacking and eating junk food.

The thing that 2 of my good friends are holding is a new roll of aluminium foil. A defective roll.
One of the newest addition to the Menu for our BBQ is that of sunny side up! Look @ the pic below, it looks better than what a lot of people can do at home right? hahaha

Steamboat! with MIC People!

As a end of term gathering and a pre-departure gathering for the MIC people and me, i decided to prepare and host a Steamboat for them after our end of course evaluation @ Hark Music over @ my place. Felt kinda bad that they have to come all the way to Yew tee... but well, too bad!

Since i'm going to fly in a couple of hour's time, i don't really have time to write anymore, so i'll just post the picures first and write some other time etc. Anyway pictures are worth a thousand words right ? (Something like that).

Stupid girls, what is wrong with ms chao ta? NEver see prawns b4?ET is so happy giving out the chopsticks. I Wonder why.

Last Day of class @ Hark - End of course Evaluation

This is the last 'class' that we will having over @ Hark Music this term. This is not exactly a class, it is an end of term evaluation where we the students are supposed to sing a song to be 'evaluated'. See the picture below, they are supporters of us, the students!

The picture below not too bad right?quite nice what! Don't know why Weiling kept complaining that it's not nice, haha. Maybe because she don't look good lar. But i look fine, so it's ok.... .......Look @ Shifan below, she is so serious listening to nothing! Don't know what she is doing actually, cos i'm not the one who took the picture. lolTing Ting & ME! Yes! She is our instructor. People are so vain nowadays, look @ All the people around that are trying to get into the picture eventhough it is obvious it is a picture of Jian Zheng and me. Look @ Stupid Brandon, Karyn and Winnie!
WEll, all good things always come to an end. And same for this term of fun and laughter. I guess i'll really miss these people since i'm going to china in like 2 hour's time!

Family Photo. We had so much fun this term. Although i'm sure my results will suffer because of that, it might very well be worth it. (i'll let u all know after i get my results whether is it worth it or not ok? aha)

081129 - Dinner @ Brazil Churrascaria with Chris, Stanley, yuhua and kel

Went to one of my favourite restaurant for dinner last night with a rather weird group of friends. 2 of the friends are from Bond59 while another one if Stanley from SMU (my ex classmates) and another one is Chris (the hongkong exchange guy). This place is called Brazil Churrascaria, along 6th avenue. Kinda pricy (adds up wto about $50 without any order of drinks etc). Speaking of which, i've yet to return the money to my friend who foot the bill first!

The amount of meat that i ate last night is really sinful. But they are so delicious it's not easy to resist! haha, given my limited will power, you know what happen next.. Look @ my friend Stanley. So stone. Don't know what he is thinking up in his mind. Maybe he is afraid to eat that next piece of meat for fear of gaining weight!
While on the other hand, Kelvin is so happy eating, he can't be bothered about weight problems!
U know what's the thing covering my nose? Make a guess?
The thing is Goreng Pisang in balls shape. Banana and ball... hahaha
Guess this will be the final dinner that i'll be having with my friends before i fly off to China for one month. Well, one month will pass really fast and before anyone realise i'm gone i'll be back! haha. And then i'll start my final term of classes in SMU! :(

3 Down 2 to GO: Mid Exam Break - KTV @ JB

Finished my AA (Advanced Audit) paper yesterday. Kinda crappy. Cos it's kinda common sense thingy and i don't really know what the Prof is asking for or looking out for in the paper. Worse of all there is this 10 marks question on "the Theory of Utilitarianism" which i have no *ucking clue on what it is!!! Hence i kinda lost that 10 marks cos i don't know what to write @ all. This is like the other time when i had my TWC (Techonology and world change) paper, the same thing happened (but that part was 25%).

Anyway went to JB with Chris after my exam. Went to Neway KTV! KTV + Buffet! haha..... Quite shiok actually.

There is quite a bit of selection of food available. Not all is nice however some of the dishes are not too bad.

One of my favourite dessert...I ate a total of maybe 4 bowls of this!

Benedict's Wedding!

Today is one of my Army Buddy's Wedding. The Banquet is during lunch time. More like tea time actually cos it only started @ 2pm. IT's a good time actually cos everyone should be free and it ends early, so I pretty much have the rest of the day to myself. I'm really happy for BEn. He had really come a long way since NS and he looked so happy!

Kinda irritated that i don't hvae my voice today cos i really wanna do some catching up with all my army friends as i haven really seen for a really really long time!

BElow is Mr Fang Yeow and me! One of my closer friend from NS but I haven got the chance to meet him much eversince he got a Girlfriend! haha. HE should be the next one who's gonna get married! haha... That's also probably the next time i'll see him again!

My real buddy during my days in OCS (officer cadet school) is the guy on my left. THe one in white.

A really nasty incident took place during the 'Lunch'. The stupid waiter who was serving us drinks actually spill a glass of wine onto my buddy and me! What the hell right??? The worse thing is that it kinda drenched my buddy's camera! Haha ... his D40 or something. Fortunately the camera is unharmed cos some of these pictures were taken during the aftermath.

One question that keeps coming up during the meal is who's gonna be the next one getting married? haha. Seriously, i don't really care and i can be really confident that i won't be the one. Not that i don't wanna love someone and be with that someone. I just don't see myself going down that path anytime soon or rather anytime in the future and in the distant future! haha

okok, enough said. Really enjoyed myself today those guys!

2008 End of year Steamboat with Bond 59 & Chris

Less than 2 weeks and i'll be off to China for one month and wil only be back on the 5th of January. Also, 3 of the members of Bond 59 will also be going off to the States for holiday real soon (next wed) thus i decided to hold a STEAMBOAT as a 'celebration' for whatever that's coming @ the end of the year and also for Kelvin's BDAY + the 2 other girls?

Spent the morning preparing the stuff needed for the steamboat with Chris. I really love mushrooms manz! haha

Look @ Chris's sexy short shorts! It's actually my OCS Shorts. Oh, anyway just a short intro of who he is. Chris is an exchange student from Hongkong who is currently taking refuge in my place cos his rent kinda expires and it is stupid to extend it since it comes in 'periods' of 3 months. Yup. Well ... the thing is a lot of people are showing concerns that we are sharing the same bed but THERE IS REALLY NOTHING going on between us! haha. So don't worry. Furthermore, though i'm fat, he is FATTER so even if i do have any chance of liking guys, i will NOT chose him! haha (i hope he don't see this post!)

Okok, so overall the Steamboat is a success and i really enjoyed it. I almost forgot how much i like Steamboat etc and hanging out with friends. It made me realised that i haven been a really good friend to all my other friensd out there (other than Bond 59) such as my Pri and SEc school friends etc. Been out of Singapore so often that i don't have time for myself and also to catch up with people. I promise i'll have more time soon ok? Next year onwards. Since i'm going to graduate and most probably not able to find a job! :(

Okok, Now it's time to go back to my books and Study yea? 4 more papers to come before i fly off to China! JIA YOU !! CIAO!

This is the 2nd last singing class that i'll be having for this term. Not too bad, quite fun actually. Too bad my throat is really feeling bad yesterday. Sad. It was so bad that i can't even speak at all when i woke up this morning! And to think that we have to perform next saturday! what the hell lo, i seriously doubt i can be able to do it then.

This is my singing teacher, don't see her like this ok? she sings damn well! Still can remmeber the first time i hear her sing 你是爱我的。Was really impressed.

As everyone knows, this time of the year is the exam period again. I decided to wish all my friends in MIC (music interactive club) all the best for their exams by making them a 'welfare' pack!

I baked 2 items for them. Hope they will like it eventhough i haven really done it for a long time! haha...

Pre- Exams Retreat!! -- Johor Bahru (JB) Outing with Bond59 !!!

Been a long time since Bond 59 had a full blown outing to JB! haha. This is a really fun trip i would say.... Though it still retains some of the usual activitines such as having a meal over @ our favourite Manhattan FIsh Market, however, we tried many new things such as the discovery of new joints to eat @ and new things to do! Was really disappointed with the food @ Manhattan Fish Market yesterday. wasn't as good as it used to be. OR maybe it is because we didn't order the same things that we usually do. And by the way, the Caesar Salad we had there was the lousiest i had even had. It is really bad, smell like shit and look disgusting.

The 2nd place we ate at is called the Nandos. Not too bad, i like the garlic sauce. kinda nice. And the whole atmosphere is rather cosy too. I like the fact that there is a lot of colours around, like the sauces and the decor.

well, somehow all of us were 'obsessed' with the different types of PERI PERI sauce they have.

Guess what's our next activity after Nandos? We Moved on to buy lotsa of bread from the chain 'Lavender'. It's disgusting, we bought so many as if we haven eaten anything for the whole day here in fact we had been eating non-stop for the past few hours. Once we finished the purchase of the bread, we moved to a joint 'old town white coffee' to have some drinks and to finish up those bread!

One of the special bread that they have is a charcoal bread. What the hell! And i promise u the colour of that bread is really as depicted in the picture above. It's kinda interesting but it's not that cheap. it's 3.50RM for a small loaf. Well, but i guess a lot of people don't mind paying that amount for some novelty! haha

Next we went to 'grocery' shop @ Jusco and one thing caught my eye. They actually have a non-halal section which as the name suggests where all the non-halal food are stored and sold. Kinda amazed. There are even all sorts of non halal instant noodles in there!

Well, the car is kinda full from all the shopping once we are done with the store. look @ the number of plastic bags that we have! DamneD! I don't think my friends will be able to recognise me after this 2 weeks since i will be staying home to study for exams and also eating all those tidbits that I've procured!

Secret Recipe! haha. This is a must go for us even ever we went to JB cos it's so freakingly cheap! although i don't really like cakes but it's still worth it. There are some which are my favourites though, worth trying out are: Apple crumble cheesecakes, choc banana, choc marshmallow!

Oh ya, and since the bday of our of our members, Kelvin is coming soon, we decided to dedicate a bday song for him that day. it was so funny cos we sang it really softly and 'secretly'. Really amusing.

Time for some fried chicken! manz! this is like the don't know how many meals that we had for that day. Kinda disgusted with ourselves! Guess i would gain @ least 3 kg from this one day of madness. Well, it's exam time what, so should indulge!

AFter KFC we went off to PElangi and go BOWLING! MAnz! i don't even think we ever went bowling together as a group. haha, everyone was so excited! Even bought new socks just so that we can all go bowling! On right? hahahaa

well, if u are wondering if i'm wearing those socks then the ans would be .......................NO!!! oh come on, do u really believe i would wear those?

And since this is the first time we are bowling together, we kinda came up with the idea of having a mini competition and we split into 2 competing groups. The losing team will have to treat the other team to MORE FOOD! hahaha ... SATAY! and by looking @ the pictures below it's pretty obvious that we are really serious about the competition right? haha

Ended up the 闪亮三姐妹 were in the same group. hahaha...(see below)

So guess who's the winner! of course it's my group! hahaha. I'm the top scorer lo. THough i think it's purely luck instead of real skills but still it makes me feel good! haha.

And of course, we headed for more food afer bowling. Went for nasi lemak as recommended by our Kelvin. The nasi lemak is quite nice. Liked everything about it. haha

That is then followed by our usual car wash and SATAY!! Our prize for winning the bowling ! haha..

End of Term "SMU Syndrome"

This week will be week 13 of school. The beginning of the last 3 weeks of torture that had lasted 12 weeks thus far. So what is this syndrome characterised by?

Below are some of the physical characteristics of the syndrome:

Fever/ Flu
Sore throat
Gaining Mass - You would also by now feel that somehow your shirts and pants are getting tighter due to the increasing amount of time spend sitting on chairs through the many mugging sessions or through the numerous meetings coupled with the decreasing amt of time spend on exercising and eating healthily.
'Natural Eye Shadow' – most people would have by now develop dark rings due to the constant lack of sleep because of burning mid night oil be it to find the very little time left to meet up with friends for supper or for rushing projects to meet dateline etc. Here are some of the non-physical characteristics:

Constant perception of in a rush – somehow not everyone if as busy during this time of the term for a SMU Student however, because of the fact that it's the last 3 weeks, by default and convention we, being the students of SMU we are SUPPOSED to be busy thus somehow, this is more like a self serving biasness kinda thing. So even if someone is not busy, that person will suffer from this syndrome and be 'infected' by everyone else to think that he or she is really busy and have to rush to finish some UNKNOWN task etc thus putting stress on his own body.
Knowing nothing – One would also think that they have no knowledge of what they had been studying for the past 12 weeks and keep on insisting that they actually don't know anything about the subject matter per se.
Compulsive Check List Production(mental or physical) - one would keep coming up with a checklist of things to be done etc be it in the mind or writing it down on paper etc. This checklist could be for the events that will take place in the near future (ie: within the next 3 weeks) or they can also extend into the future and into the december holiday periods like a checklist of what to do in the holidays, what to buy after the exams, what kinda gatherings to have towards the end of the year etc etc.

Well, to really list down all the possible characteristics is a really tough one cos everyone experiences it differently to differing extends. so yup. The best way to know is to get to know someone from SMu and to observe each and every actions etc of that person! hahaha...

MJ & Day out with Bond (Ikea)

Somehow i seemed to have new Mahjong Khakis these days. Not exactly new as in all the ppl are new, rather, it's just the inclusion of someone who i normally don't play with. That person is Jas's friend Janet (Ah sim).

BEen playing mahjong with Jas and Sim for quite a few times already. Sometimes with other friends to make up the 4th leg, sometimes just the 3 of us. In fact, i kinda prefer to play 3 leg MJ cos the turnover rates are much faster. Our dinner was Canadian Pizza. Hmmm... not exactly that nice. It was really filling though cos the girls didn't want to eat too much fearing that they might get fat thus i had to finish up whatever that's left over.The next day was kinda a tiring day packed with activities. Early in the morning, we planned to have our breakfast of the day over at 'Dragon Gate Restaurant'. It have been a long time since i last patronize that place thus it's kinda good to be back there. However, the disappointment is that the only good thing i derive from the tim sum buffet is not the satisfaction arising from good food but rather from memories that i have of that place. Well, it's not as if the food is bad etc, just that it does not seem to be as fantastic as before.
Right after our heavy breakfast, JAs & Me proceed to Ikea over at Alexandra to meet up with Hui Yee etc for their shoppping.
There is this promotion by Subway that offers a cold cut (ham), 2 cookies and a soft drink for only 4.95. Kinda worth it thus we all decided to make it out dinner for the day. hahaTerençe came back not long after we are done shopping @ Ikea. Met up with him over at Holland V for a drink and chat etc. It is almost 2 months since we last saw him because of sch stuff etc. Well, he will be flying off to Japan again ina few days' time thus the next time we see him will be during the BBQ on the 20th! haha. kinda looking forward to all the food!

Movie MArathon @ JB

As mentioned earlier on, exams are over already thus it's time to rest and relax. Thus it is also time to visit JB again! lol. Jasmine's on off thus we decided to go to JB for a day of Movie Marathon. It's really tiring really. There isn't any time for us to even take a small break in between certain movies to catch a bite etc. Kinda taxing! we watched 4 movies on that day. Lol. It's really cheap also, 6RM if u have student ID, if not it's 8 dollars (which is also as cheap!). Went to this Hong Kong Cafe place for dinner. Not too bad. THe rice is kinda bad but the noodles and the drinks are nice. And of course, it's really cheap. It cost as much as in Singapore, just that it's the nominal value that's the same, not the ''real' value.

End of Exams --- Rest & RElax

Exams are finally over. In what seemed like a blink another term had ended again. 15 weeks and i hardly remember anything that took place.

Met up with Yu Hua after my last paper. Planned to go for the Sintex IT Show over at Expo. I wanted to buy a camera actually, however, the show was a disappointment. Well, since we didn't get to buy anything during the show, we turned out attention over to the nearby John Little Mega Sales!

Ended up spending close to $170 manz! Damned! All Yu hua's fault! If not for her constant instigation i would never had spent so much! lol.

Since the exams are finally over, it's time to rest and relax. This thus also means that it's time for Mahjong! Met up with Yu hua's friend Janet (Ah sim) to have dinner followed by a Mahjong session.

Had our dinner over at one of the Indian restaurant in Little India. Curry Fish Head. Not too bad. Kinda expensive though, cost us ard 8 bucks each.

KElvin's Bday - JB Trip

It had been quite some time since we last have a day trip to JB. The last time was around 2 months ago when we went to Jusco Tebrau City. This day trip is also supposed to be to celebrate Kelvin's bday as well. Decided to follow a different itinerary instead of going to Jusco again. However, there will also be a constant in all out gatherings and outings - EAT.

The first stop was a japanese restaurant. Went there for its lunch buffet. This set us back ard $20+ singapore dollars. Not exactly that expensive cos there are actually free flow of Sashimi and many other things. Yup. The pictures below should be able to give a general idea of how's the food like over there.
Changes. Innovation. Substitutes. As time passes, with days becoming weeks and weeks going into months and years. Many many things changes. And we, as normal human beings, can't always take note of all changes that's taking place at every single point in time. WE concentrate on the present and forget the past. This trip brought back some of those memories that i had from my childhood ----- with regards to food. Remember the Bubble Gum below and the fake tattoo that comes with it?
What happens when u go to JB with a Dog lover? U'll end up at a pet shop. Lol. Look at the dog below. He is so damn cute!

This is the latest addition to all the cereals that i have at home. Well. Decided to buy it after all the recommendation from my friends. However after trying it i decided that i still like the blue berry one more. haha
Another new activity that we did for this trip is that we finally watched a movie! Beowulf. Decided on this movie primarily cos of the fact that Angelina Jolie is starring in it. Kinda disappointed in the show. Crappy, boring. Don't like. This is what the movie done to Ah FAt. HE vomitted after watching the movie. Lol. Kinda funny actually. Not that we are laughing at his predicament etc. But seriously, it's really really funny! He is like a MErlion! Nick

Manhattan with CAT Grp - The end!

Finally the end of the Damned CAt ! FINALLY! As a form of celebration, i kinda 'forced' my groupmates to go with me to Manhattan fish market cos i kinda craved for it. As per normal, we walked over to Plaza Sing from SMU and one of the major landmarks along the way is that of 'The Cathay'. Although this building cannot be compared to those cineplexes overseas etc however, this is one of the building with more 'character'. Another girl that is not in our CAT group decided to join us for dinner. Her name is Song Cui (in red below). SHe is also part of the team that went China for the community service with me during June. The pic below is kinda weird. Dont really understand why anyone would suggest the idea of including the fingers together with the pic of the seafood platter.Oh oh, anyway i'm wearing my new specs in the pic below. Nice right? Dao Huai - CAT Group

Rocher DAo Huai had somehow became the favourite supper place for my CAT Group. Oh, CAT = Computer as An analysis Tool. A course that i am currently taking in SMU. It mainly involves the use of microsoft excel. This course is the culprit behind the late nights that i've been putting in these days. My group mate, Irene decided to give us a treat today, see what it resulted in! haha, We ordered so much that i was so full after eating all these. FYI, we went to this dao huai place after we had our dinner - half a chicken. Lol. Well, i like the dao huai and the drink but i don't really like those fried stuff. They are always not hot and not crispy. Never fails to disappoint me. Sob sob.
WEll, the 2 girls are my proj mates! I didn't get to know them only this term. Got to know them around May. They are part of the team of the overseas CIP that i've taken part in in June. Yup. WEll, they are really good proj mates. Did a terrific job! Now who says that girls are not good with Computers? THat's one of the greatest myth ever! haha, or is it my problem? That i sux at it! lol.

Bday Girls.... ......

This is a adhoc meeting for Bond59. This took place in the mist of all the proj deadlines etc. Kinda Crazy in fact. I had a proj meeting till ard 9+ after which we decided to meet up and celebrate the bday of one of the members of Bond59. However, in the end, we kinda celebrated 2 of the girl's bday.
The guy in the picture above is "AH FAT". He is the self proclaimed 'elder' of the group of us. Not cos he is the wisest of all of us, but that he is the oldest. The box that he's holding on to are the cakes that we had bought for the girls.

This Ah FAt is really irritating etc at times. As this is kinda a 'surprise' thingy for Yu hua (her bday). Although all of us kinda know that she expect it but still, we are not about to go all out and tell her 'hey, we are going to celebrate ur bday for u". What ah fat did was that he actually passed me the lighter for the candles in the presence of the bday girl. At that moment, i was so pissed that i didn't wanna take the lighter. What happened next was that he actually passed the lighter to the bday girl and asked her to keep it for later! Manz, how stupid can someone get! lol

This dog is Pepper Lim! He belongs to KElvin Lim, another member of Bond! Cute right? haha. They were feeding him all kinds of food from milktea to bak kwa to many other things. haha. Sometimes i really wonder as to is it because the dog really like to eat so much or that the owner just don't feed it enough!

JB outing - Tyre Crisis

It's JB again. Been there so many times this school term it's insane. SEriously. Been there like every one two weeks. However, one of the most feared things happen! U know what? The tyre of kelvin's car gave up on us. sob sob. Look at all the plastic bags lying on the floor. It's all our the grocery shopping from Giant supermart. Spent quite some time trying to fix up the tyre. Why? Cos we don't really have all the equipments available etc. Luckily for the guy over at the pertrol kiosk. Not only did the guy helped iwth the changing of the tyre, he helped us to source for the missing equipments! See the guy in red? He's the man! lol. If not for him we really don't know what are we going to do manz.

This is one of those annual events not to be missed for Bond59. Although we are chinese by race, and that it's hari raya (a muslim / malay festival, can't really be sure which is which), we just simply can't give the food a miss. THat's what we as Bond59 do. EAt eat eat & .....eat.

One of the stall that we always patronise is that of the 'Otah sister stall'. Well.... honestly, i don't really find the Otah that nice. It's nothing more than ordinary. Oh well, at least it's not bad. However, it's all for the company isn't it? lol....

It's really amazing how many Otah a person can eat in one go. Look at how many Otahs we bought. Manz... Ah fat himself ate ard 10 maybe? Kinda disappointed with this year's visit. Why? Haaa.. cos the food's not really that great. I can't even find a nice goreng pisang and nice prawn thingy. SAd.... As usual, this will only be one of the stop that we'll be going for the day. AFter which we decided to go to the Cheesecake CAfe somewhere over in the east. Can't really remember where it is. However, it's not important anyway cos the cakes there are not that good as what my friend 'yu hua' said it would be.

Although the taste's not that great, we do gain something out of it. As animals, as humans, we learn from our past and experience. So, we learnt that we should not be going there for the cakes anymore. However, all is not lost, cos the ambience's rather nice. If you want a nice place to make out then it might be worth checking the place out. if Cakes's what u are looking for, then maybe.... just maybe you could go look for other outlets.

Sony Ericsson - FACE WARPs

My brother recently bought a new phone. And as you all might already know, i lost my W800i when i was in china backpacking. So yup, i'm using my brother's old phone now. K800i! haha. Same name, just a change of the first alphabet. Well, i discovered this really cool function/program in my 'new' phone.

The application is called FACEWARP. It's really fun! What the application does is that it will take a picture of you and then warp it. Like making ur face look distorted etc etc. Really fun. BElow are a few of the pics that i've saved. TAke a look, can u identify which pictures are me? lol. What a pity that i didn't managed to save all the images.
