Fundraising - Selling Roses

Many of you might already know that i will be going over to Gui Zhou, China this coming summer holiday for a youth expedition programme (YEP). IT's essentially going there for to do some community service work as well as to get exposure to the lifestyle of the people living at the rural parts of the world.

We will be helping the people there to 'build' a bridge as well as to teach them some stuff. Like basic english, games, arts and craft etc. AS for the building of bridge, we are not going to build a whole bridge, but it's more like of touching up the bridge which is in a very bad condition now as well as building railings to prevent people from falling off etc.

So, before going there, we will have to raise funds for the building of the bridge which cost ard $5000!! Manz.... so well, we have no choice but to do so, and so here we are, seeling roses and seeking donations.
see the roses, nice right? I hate the red ones personally, cos it's ugly, and on top of that, it's really really throny!
we look really happy right? whaha, but we are not very happy actually. It's damn paisei lar... on top of that, i really hate some of those ppl out there. U know what?

There was once we approached a china lady for donations saying 'hey, we are going china to help the kids there etc etc' , N u know what the lady reply? She said ' i'm from china too' and then just walk off.

WTF! I mean, shouldn't that give u a more compelling reason to help the ppl there? HAiz, really don't understand what these ppl are thinking about. Nick
