Day 2 in NY - Damned Shag!

Day 2 in New york

Day 2. Woke up really early. Ard 7am. Though I only had a few hours of sleep, it was a really good one though. Feelt much better and more refreshed after sleeping for a few hours. Had breakfast on the go, bought some donuts and all. IT's the not very ex, that's why we bought it. It's in fact like the cheapest thing that we could get over at NY! Went over to the Metropolitan museum of NY. Was late for a little bit. Was late cos Gabe and I was too engross talking to one another that we totally forgot to alight. And do u guys know what’s the stupidest thing? There’s no way we could cross over to the train that’s going in the opposite direction without getting outta of the station and cross over to the other side. Thus with that, we had to spend another 2USD (that’s something like 3+ sing) just to get over to the platform that goes in the reverse direction.

Anyway, the museum was really amazing, it’s really really huge! We could only cover a small section of the museum after the first hour, there’s no way we could cover the whole place! And due to this, personally, I am not really appreciating the art piece at all! All I was doing is glancing through them and taking pictures of those that interest me.

The tour over at the museum did take a better turn after we joined the guided tour. The guide was really fantastic. She explained a few important pieces and really open our eyes to stuff which we’ll nv realize/notice if we were to go about ourselves. I’ll post the pictures later when I have internet connection, cos right now, I’m typing in a word document instead of my blog, cos my stupid lappy is not powerful enough to detect the connection etc, damned! My friend could connect! I can’t!! whahaaaa Look above at the picture. Isn't it nice? It's a picture that i took using my cam. U see the child in the middle of the pic? make a guess, is it a she or a he ? WHhaaa. I thought that it's a she, but it turns out that it's a he! whaha. Weird right ?

Had to rush off halfway before we could even cover half the museum, damn it, what a waste. The weather's still rather bad. It's still drizzling and is really cloooudy, no sun and all, so it's kinda really cold there! I do know that it's gonna be cold and all in new york, but i didn't expect it to be that cold!! As in freezing cold! Anyway below is a pic that i took at time square area!Went over to Broadway and got the tickets to catch a musical. We bought the tickets to ‘the producers’. Though the tickets was already at a discounted price of 50% lesser, but damned! It’s still really expensive manz, it cost us 59USD for that performance, that’s like ard $100 sing!!Anyway, the performance was good, so it was kinda worth it, just that I can’t get over the fact that it’s almost 100 sing dollars lar! Whaaaaa

Had a quick lunch over at Mac donalds! The firsttime that i was having Mac in the states. Had the Double Quarter Pounder! So shoik! It;s really nice, Singapore should have that as well manz! SEriously. It's not thta Ex as in in New york. It cost ard 6+USD. But if we are to convert it to sing dollars then it's rather ex manz ! It'll cost something like 10+ sing? WHhaaaa, but i've learn that we are not suppose to convert, cos it's bad for health and it'll kill! whahaaa

Another interesting thing that we encounter in New york was the naked cowboy! whhaa, look at the pic below and u'll get what i mean. WHahahaa. He don't really sings that well and all, but it's really funny when he does all those posing of his and all. And u know what? He's even listed as part of the tourist attrations in New york! It's really funny. It on'y cost like one dollar to take a picture with him, so yea, all the girls who likes beefcakes out there, what r u waiting for ???

Went over to their Toy R Us there. Really big! they even have a Ferris wheel in their store manz! the store is like several storeys and all. Really huge. Look at the pic below, the entire thing is made of legos, amazing isn't it? WHahaaaaDinner was really boring and all, so I’ll not talk about it (because I can’t remember much of it as well). Was REAlly tired after dinner, we walking ard for a few more hours before going back to the hostel. Was really shag out when we reach back to the hostel that I just ‘concussed’, just slept in what ever I was wearing then without changing etc. Simply too tired and all. Whhahahaaaa, slept all the way till the next morning manz !

First Day in New York - SHAG !

The flight to New york was really a torture manz! It's ard 20 hours in total! Can u believe it? Sitting down for full 20 HOURS! I watched 4 movies in total, whahaaa. THink that's the only good thing about the whole flight. Another thing is the food, not too bad, i even took pictures of all my meals (on request by Guo hao but due to the lack of time, i will only post those pics later!)

Tried to sleep during the flight, wasn't that successful, cos it's really very cram and all, no space to straighten my legs totally manz ! One of the most irritating thing throughout the flight is that there are so many people that specks to me in Korean! Don't understand why they assume that everyone can speck their language! whahaa, kinda funnny at times even.

Anyway, it was damn cold when we reached New york! not only that, it's rainging the whole day long! Freaking cold and wet! Think it was ard 5 degrees celsius only lar, manz! To add on to that, Gabe and i was walking ard Mahatten in the rain and all. Stupid me, didn't even prepare that it will be this cold, only brought a lousy jacket! Not enough, the weather is going to kill me manz!

REAlly really tired today after walking ard with Gabe in the rain to explore a part of new york! Went over to broadway and check out what are the performances going on and also what's those prices like etc. Rather ex even though there are some discounts etc, haiz! The billboards are really beautiful! so colourful and so huge!Had dinner over at a local 'restaurant'. Had some cheezy thingy, not that fantastic though, but it was rather cheap, as in not very ex. It's roughly 10 USD which eqautes to ard 16 Sing Dollars! THat's just for a normal meal manz! think i'm screwed tis time round manz! whaaaaaa

aNyway, hope that the weather will be kinder to me tomorrow and not rain, not so cold and all! Damn tired already, gotta go and sleep! Buai!!!

Connecting Flight at Seoul

Hey all peps out there! This is my first blog for my work and travel thingY! Guesss what? No, i'm not at USA now, over at seoul awaiting for my connecting flight to go to New york! whaha.

Haven really sleep during the 6 hours flight to Seoul earlier on, damn! whaha

JB Trip with Michelle and all

After talking about it for so long, we had finally decided to go to JB! Jia Ling, Michelle, Esther and a few more people went. The quene was really good manz, not really a quene at all, no ppl at all!! So good, totally different from last friday whereby it took me like 2 hours to clear the custom lar! The first destination that we went was my favourite Secret recipe again! whaa, but i didn't eat any cake this time round, had too much chocolate last night during the international buffet manz. Tried shopping, but there's nothing to buy at all. There's no people in City square one loh, so empty lar. Seem rather weird manz. Walked ard for a while with Christine and esther. Really tired after walking for only a while. Saw a KTV while walking ard, decided to go ktv. REally cheap. We spent only ard 9RM in the end. Whahaa, that's like only 4+ Sing dollars?? WHahaaa
The ktv not too bad sia, gave us 5 mic out of which 2 are cordless ones. The bad thing abt the KTV is the selecting of the songs. Rather difficult to use, sianz, cannot see the screen loh, N not familiar with the remote and all too. Went 'da ma hua yuan' for dinner. Went to a different stall this time round. Had a tough time deciding on what to order, cos there;s one of us who can't take seafood on that day. Cos the leg etc injured. Whahaaa.
Took the Causeway link back to Singapore. Why? Cos it's cheaper! It's only 0.80RM, damn cheap manz! Whahaaaa.

FREEDOM -- no more purpose -- Dinner with Echo Guys !!

Exam's finally over!! AFter 2 weeks of mad rush. Manz, really shag out, haven gotten any good sleep for the past days! Had 2 paper today. Business Law in the morning followed by Quantitative methods in the afternoon. The hand really hurts during and after the Biz law exam manz. Haven wrote so much things for so long, since JC times where i hv to write econs essays and all. The worst thing is that there's not enough time to write finish everything! Haiz.
But generally the exams are ok, won't fail, but don't know if can do well not.

ANyway, i'm gonna fly off to USA next friday. Made arrangements to meet up with a few of my Broz from Echo 3. Have not seen them for quite some time. Kinda miss them, like Fang yeow, Kar meng and Kiat yang.....in fact, all of them!! ARGH ! Everyone are so busy nowadays, no chance to meet up with one another at all.

Meet up for dinner. We spent a few hours trying to decide as to where to eat! Decided to go over to Ajisen for dinner after deliberating for a few hours! whahahaa, so very indecisive right? Haven eat over at Ajisen for such a long time, the last time i had it was years ago with 'Bond' they all over at Bugis. Ordered the beef ramen and fried chicken. Not too bad, rather nice. Don't know why i nv eat it for so such a long time.
Eugene gave me a ride back after eating. So sweet of him to do that! WHahaaa, no lar, he gave me a ride back cos he wanna collect back his guitar! whahaaa. Borrowed it from him several months back, but no time to try to learn it at all! School's madness manz!

Final Mad Rush !!

Hey everyone outta there !! Whahaa, have not been posting things here for so long! Whaha, almost forgot about my password manz!! Anyway to those of my friends who reads or rather take a look at my blog once in a while this entry is to keep all of u 'entertained' and not forget abt the existance of my blog! whaha.

Anyway for those guys who i have not meet up for so long, how are all of u all? Whahaaaaa. Just to update all of ya, i'm DYING !! Whaha, cos of all the workload that i got over at SMU (Singapore's Mugger university) !! Whahaha. Now's the exams period manz ! ANd it have been a mad rush since like 3 weeks ago whereby all the presentations / projects started coming due and also the looming EXAMS !!

Exam's came too fast! One moment i don't know anything at all, and then 'snap snap', exams' here already! Can't take it manz. How am i gonna take the exam if i don't *ucking know anything? Whahaa, and guess what? 2 paper's already down, and now i am left with only 2 more ! whaha. What's even better is that both of them are back to back papers (which is tomorrow!!) And the worst thing is that i only seriously started preparation for them yesterday!!

How bad can it get right ? WHaaa. Just take QM for example. I am gonna be tested on 4 chapters and u know what? I missed half of the lessons! DIdn't go forthe lessons cos i overslept! whahaaaaaaaa.

But who can i blame other than myself?? WHahaaa, So suck thumb, Boil the water and go go go!! READ read read and DO do do...... till i drop! WHaha

Looking forward to my coming weekends though, have lots of gatherings and meeting with my friends and close ones coming up! One of the reason is because i'm gonna fly off to USA for work and travel next friday !! Can u believe it? I can't believe it as well! whahaa. Gonna meet my friends and all from Tomorrow after exams all the way to tuesday ! whahaa.... haven been out for so long!! Have to get a break manz !!

A brief outline of wht i'm gonna do for the days to come:

Thursday: Meeting Army ppl

Friday: JB Trip with Bond (a few of them)

Saturday: Dinner with Primary sch ppl

Sunday: Lunch with Bendemeer ppl and dinner with Bond

Monday: JB with a few SMU PPL (tentative)

Tuesday: OG GAthering!! (Hopefully it materialize!)

Wed - Fri: First Aid course (free in the evenings of wed and thurs, anyone wanna meet me before i fly off ???)

So yea, that's what i have to say for now! Cos u know what? I have to go back to my books and papers and ARGH .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't say about it. Buai !!!
