Fundraising 2 - Car Washing!! - 29th May

This is our second attempt at fundraising. OVer at east coast park. And instead of selling roses, it's car washing. Although the sun's bad and the task is tiring, i think it's a rather nice activity. It allowed us to get to know one another better and also have some nice tan yea? haha

Anyway see the girl in green below? Her boss actually came all the way down with his sports car! Nice right? I think we got $50 bucks from him!
Acutally there's really very nice people around. There's this family that i approached when they were leaving. What they did was that they actually declined the car wash and drove off. But a few minutes later, they drove back and handed me $100 buck! manz! THat's so generous of them. I was realy shocked then, as in real shock!
And ya, above is ee suan and her family members who came down to show some encouragement and also brought us some food! Thanks Uncle!

China

One more week and i'll be flying to china for my overseas community service project over at Gui Zhou. This acutally over at one of the small village over there. Gonna go and help out over at one of the school there. On top of teaching them stuffs etc we will also be helping them with doing something to their bridge like building of the railings etc (i'm not so sure about how this will go about though)

I will be travelling ard china for close to one month after the project. Hmm.... and for the travelling part, i'll be alone for 3 weeks before meeting my gd friends (bond59) over at hongkong! Can't wait manz! Haha, it had been a long time since all of us have the chance to all go overseas. ANd it's really happening for them to fly over and meet me! But well, the only thing that's a pity is that one of our friends will not be joining us for this trip. Hmmm, the reason? Seriously? I don't know. Or rather i think i know but i just don't wanna care too much, cos there's nothing that i can do without making the matter worse. Sometimes in life it's just better to leave certain contentious issues alone. Why be bothered by things that are beyond your control yea? I believe that so long as u had tried, then that's enough, there must be effort from everyone.

Anyway, ya! AS i was saying, it's really happening that they are flying over to hongkong to meet me! ? Why i said it's good that we are travelling again is that it had really been a long time since the last time we all step out of singapore together. All of us had been travelling on our own part, there's like someone going somewhere almost every month! Like yu hua, kelvin and terence who all went to taiwan one after another, Ah Fat to hongkong and the Chans to Europe etc.

Hmmm. Hope this trip will turn out really nicce.

But the most issue that is constantly buggering me now is not about the hongkong trip. IT's more of the part where i'll be travelling alone in china that's kinda making me worried. My plans had not be finalised as of now and i'm kinda worried about things like the accomodations and the transport over there etc etc. So yea, hope everything will work out yea.

EXAMS TOMORROW!!

Tomorrow's EXAM!OMG! hahaha. Manz, i think i'm going crazy from what i had gone through these few days. Firstly, 2 days of the study week were taken up by lessons: gene cell and strategy lesson. As if that's not enough, there's a quiz for gene cell lesson N 2 reports due for strategy! manz.

HAHA. If u think it's bad enough, it's nt! I even fell sick from wednesday - friday! Only recovered yesterday. MAnz, so i practically started preparing for exams yesterday! Therefore so far, i've only covered one course while i gonna hv 3 exams this week. Bless me manz.

ANywa tomorrow's i'll be having one of the tougher paper. In fact it's the only one that will invlove any amount of calculation. Yea. And tat's the only one that i have studied so far. Haaaa, thanks to my friends, see my cheat sheet! haha, i stole their format. so yea! haha. THe font is damn small lar, can u even make out any word on it? whahaha

really hope i can do well for this term. especially tomorrow's paper. cos it;s like the only course that i possess any confidence in for this term! whaha. Okok, i gonna go to bed soon, cos i can still feel some of those viruses in me that had been making me sick and blur for so many days! hope my mind's clear tomorrow!
