RATATOUILLE - FRIDAY

One of my friend - Mahjong Khaki - gave me a pair of movie tickets recently. It's those kinda Corporate events, by CitiBank. Well, the show is Ratatouille, a show about a rat who can really cook. Hmm, guess everyone should have a rough idea of the show given all the advertisments etc that's surrounding the show.
The venue of the show is over at Suntec, thus i met up with one of my best friend for the movie. As well as to go the the Comex show. Actually i really wanted to buy a camera, cos my current one is kinda shitty as well as i'm going exchange soon thus a new camera would really be good.Well, we had our late lunch followed by having some coffee to satisfy the caffine crave that both of us were having then. Decided to buy some mocha ice blended over at 'san francisco coffee', something like that lar. Can't really remmeber the name that well.

What i do remember about the joint is that i had the customer service level over there. Not only do they take more than 10 mins to prepare the drinks, they really don't have common sense. Why do i say so? Look at the pic below, see where i'm sitting? Instead of passing the drinks to me where i'm sitting, they passed the drink to us over at the counter and made me walk over. STUPID!! ALthough i really like the drink, i don't think i'll ever patronise the joint again, cos the CS really SUCKS!

The free tix is really worth it, not only does it comes with 2 tixs, there are also free popcorn and nacho combos! Love it. whahaa. Cos i love nachos. The popcorn? Nahz... we decided to give it a miss. The best thing is that there was even buffet dinner served prior to the movie. Shiok. And the food is not too bad, quite nice. LAstly, in the spirit of watching the show, i've taken some pics of a hamster as well as a short video of the hamster. LOlz. The hamster is SO........... Cute!! OMG> I named him/her the thirsty Hamster cos it kept drinking from the bottle for at least a few mins! U'll love him/her!

Food

These are the rubbish stuffs that i cook and eat whenever i'm bored and have nothing to do at home. Hahaha. Some of them look really kinda shitty yea? hahhaa

Anyway the first picture below, the disgusting purple puke-like thingy is actually very nice blueberry yogurt. Yup. realy nice. Below are actually left overs which i kinda put together. haha. Anyway u see the fishballs? Those are my favourite fishballs that my family always buy from someplace in Geylang. Why i like them so much? It's cos the fishballs originates from my ancestor's hometown, Foo Chow. So as u can guess, the fishballs are called Foo Chow fishballs. whhahah. In case u don't know what are they, they are actually normal fishballs on the exterior but have pork fillings inside which will also hold tasty juices! Yummy !
Below are Glutinous rice balls! haha, as u can see, there are pink (peanut) and white (sesame) ones! haha. Nice. I even go to the extend of cooking them in peanut soup. HAHA<> Below is the same left overs dishes. But i made some fried rice. aha, looks nice huh? It don't only look nice! IT's damn nice! hahhaha
Lastly, look at my 'american' breakfast! haha, looks impressive yea? haha. There are 3 hotdogs, scrambled eggs, one fried egg and also 2 pieces of Garlic toasts. haha

I'm back!

Hey peeps, i'm finally back from my China trip. Well, for those of you who happens to drop by my blog every now and then, you should have realised that i have not been updating my blog for the whole trip. Well, there are a few reasons for that. One of cos it's hard for me to get internet at times, and even if i can find internet, i cannot upload pictures cos i'm using the internet from internet cafes. And lastly, i cannot really access blogspot from China! Damn it right? hahaha

ANyway, the trip is alright. Not too bad. Nothing real bad happen, the only bad thing is that i lost my handphone. Yup yup.

WEll, a few more days and school will start again. IT's time to do away with those backpacks of mine which had accompanied me for the past 2 months and welcome back textbooks and project meetings!

Thinking back, the past 2 months seems a little bit unreal. I actually went for a community service project in Gui Zhou for 2 weeks and then travelled for one month by myself. Even i cannot really believe it at times. NEver had i thought that i'll be able to travel by myself for close to one month. ANd defintely not China!

well, i'll try to blog about my china trip soon. keep a look out for more!
