Day Trip to Michigan!!

Suppose to wake up at ard 0645 in the morning. Ended up waking up at roughly around 730! Why do we have to wake up so early??? Cos we have to get the car that we rented and drive up to Ann Arboee, Michigan. Yong chang and me are tagging along with Carol and Gabe to the University of Michigan cos they’re going over there to visit their friends.

Gabe’s the driver for the day. He had absolutely no rouble with driving fast and accustoming to the traffic in USA etc. He’s driving at around 90-100 miles on average, that’s like 140-160 km/hr!! That’s really crazy! It’s like double the speed that we drive over back in Singapore! But I’m rather happy that he drove that fast cos it really really shorten the journey by a lot!

Reached Ann arbor ard noontime. Check out the school etc. The school’s nice, but Georgetown’s still better. One thing that university of Michigan is better is the law library that they have over there. Their law lib looks really like those scences in Harry potter!!

Had Japanese food for lunch. Really good. Haven had sushi for such a long time! I was kinda still full from those brownies that I had eaten while on the way to Michigan thus I only shared sushi with yong chang.

Went walk ard the Campus for a while after lunch and then have ice – cream at 3+. The ice cream was really huge! Was so full after eating that manz.

The most exciting part of the whole day is approaching! That’s shopping time! Went over to a nearby mall to shop. The main reason of us going there is cos carol and her friend wanna spend some time together thus Yong Chang and me went shopping on our own. Saw a lot of stuffs that I like. Like cargo shorts, jeans, shirts etc etc. Guess where I end up spending all my money??? AEROPOSTALE!! Damn it@

I spent like 76+ over at Aeropostale!! That’s like $130 sing dollars manz!! I’m really really crazy I think. MAD! Spent so much. I haven even started my travel USA things yet! Gonna work more hours to cover up! Do I have to do it? Should I ? whahhaa

Should I eat into my savings (which is not a lot after paying for everything like the air tickets and program fees) or should I just try to earn more money? What should I do? If I work more then I’ll not have the time to interact with ppl! If I don’t work extra then I’ll not have money! Shit!! Really hated dilemma like this!

Anyway there’s another thing that I have to talk about, that’s about the dinner that we had during this Michigan trip. Guess what? I actually know 2 person over at the university og Michigan! They are Gan chin wei and Jing Shen! Didn’t really expect to see anyone that I know over there, so it’s really a surprise, a good one though.

Haven seen Gan for so long so it’s really nice to see him! Chatted with him through the dinner. This is like the first time that I’m really chatting with him. Really funny, weird in fact.

Really envy those ppl that went over to study overseas. Really. Hated school in Singapore. It’s so boring here in Singapore. Everything’s so competitive and boring. N olife at all. And yea, the dinner’s on the house. One of the gal’s parents came over to visit their daughter and decided to give all of us a dinner treat. Really really nice of them to do so manz. It must have cost them quite a bit to do it. The food’s not too bad as well. Full course Chinese dinner, so yea, really appreciate it.

The last highlight for the night is that there’s a white Castle outlet over at our dinner place. Took a few pics with that and bought 10 of their small burgers to see why ‘Harold and Kumar’ are so obsessed with it! Whahhaaa

If u think the ride to Ann arbor was fast, then u’re wrong, so wrong! Cos the way back was even faster! Took slightly over and hour only! It was so fast! The night didn’t just end there. We went over to Bayside to pick Debbi up for Grocery shopping over at Walmart and Meijers. Planned to buy a fan actually. Same goes for Debbi and Carol. We didn’t buy in the end cos Esmond already bought one for our room.

Everyone’s out during the night. Ran into so many ppl over at Walmart and also Meijers. Yong chang and me had decided to share our food. The thing is that Issac and esmond came along later and wanna share with us as well. Seriously I have no prob with them etc. It’s just that I don’t wanna share stuff with too many ppl anymore.

Gabe gave us a ride back to the commons before making another trip to meijers to pick up the rest of the guys like charles and ambrose. Really tire when I got back. Slept soon after I got back. Anyway I did attempt to drive the car! Whaha….i am the one who drove us to Walmart from The bayside apartment after we pick Debbi up!!!

Work at 3 / Drinking at Kyle's

Started work only at 3pm in the afternoon! Damn it! Hated this kinda shifts manz, cos the hours are so little! I wana make more money! I was late for work though. By 15 mins. All thanks to the stupid bus driver who was late for like 10 mins! Really hate the stupid bus that Cedar point provide for us. Always does not follow the bus schedule at all!

The only good thing about workk for the day was that it's rather busy, thus time passes by really fast!!

The only highlight for the day was the drinking session over at Kyle's place which is directly upstairs from my apartment. Went Walmart with them to get the drinks before we drink. They are really crazy! They bought 2 x 24 pack of beer, i bottle of Volka and osme other stuff! I only drank a little. Not really a little..... Something like 6 cans of beer and 2 shots of volka. Yea. To me it's enough alreadyy lar, cos i'm not that Zhai! whahaa

Friendship / Glass House

Come across this quote when working yesterday over at the glass house. The title is called friendship! There's a few of them, but this one above is the one that i like most. ESpecially the last verse 'someone you trust who will let you be you". This verse really touches me. Who are the people out there who really can accept me for who i am?

I know that those in Bond can, i know that my Army friends can, i know that my sec sch and pri sch friends can. Who else? Who are my other friends? All those that can accept me for who i am are not here with me nw! THere're all over back home, in singapore, while i'm all alone here in the states. With no one caring for me, no one to really spend my time with cos there;s not really any true friends over here.

I'm not denying that i don't have friends here. I have a few rather ok friends over here ike charles etc, especially GAbe and Carol who knows me more then the rest i think. I don't know if i'm right about that, but at least they are those ppl who seems like they are able to accept me for who i am.

Pls note that i'm not complaining over here, i'm just sad that after like one month here, there's no one who's i can really get along with and all. I feel so lonely and all at night, nothing to do and no one to spend time with ( but isn't that the same as when i'm back in singapore?) whahhaa, always nothing to do and no one to spend time with...... See=> history always repeats itself!

I don't know, i really hope that i'm not born like this and i've not grown to be like this. I have tried, really. I'm not like the old me anymore, those tht know me last time will be able to tell how 'attitude' i am back then, so yea. I'm already much better now! So yea, those who don't like my attitude and all, pls, don't even try to be-friend me right from the beginning. Cos i'm someone who gets into a friendship really fast and i grow to love my friend really fast. SO if u are not interested in having me as a friend then tell me right from the beginning! OKOk, that's all that i'm gonna say, cos i gonna rush for work now.

Kitchen Scare !!!

Starting from this morning. I had the shocked of my life when i woke up this morning annd saw the mess the kitchen was in. It's crazy. SEriously. The stoves has some spilled eggs etc that goes all the way into the stove. The table have maple sauce for pancakes with the cap nowhere to e found. There's a bowl of pancake mix that's already mix but unuse. Eggs were fried and left lying on top of the table with a piece of bread lying on top of it and another piece of bread crumpled up beside it! Really mad!! The people are like beast !!! manz !! REally really untidy and messy and....ARGH!!!!! Going mad!

There's so much wasteage of food!! think i might not want to share with all of them in the future! Damn! REally super inconsiderate manz! whahaa

Chinese Buffet Dinner and Jackass!!

Was sent over to the Cedar point shop after i've closed the candly shop this evening. They needed help to restock and to clean up etc. It was raining again! Sickening. Rose, the candlemaker shared her umbrella with me. So nice of her . Really am touched! whhaa

Work today was rather alright. Started off rather slow but it picked up when the wheather turns nasty! It even hail today! whahaa. IT's the first time i've even seen any hail in my life! And it even happened 2 times today! So funny, those hail looked like those Dippin Dots Ice cream that we are selling over here in Cedar point!

Was kinda looking forward to going back home after work cos we are going for somebuffet dinner. Chinese buffet dinner !! A whole lot of us went there. It's like almost the whole of my apartment + a few of the firls + Dav! Dav went for the buffet with us. Reallt glad that he came with us. One reason is because he drove us there! So we kinda saved a few dollars for the cab. But the main reason is cos he;s really fun to be with etc.

Went took a walk through the Walmart after Dinner. Dav bought a DVD (Jackass) and we went over to his room to watch it after getting back from dinner. Not too bad! Really funnny and crazy! Seriously. They does things that are really crazy! like sticking a toy car that's in a condom up the arse of one of them so that they can go fro x-ray after thatt!! wwhhaaa. But still, i really enjoyed the show, gonna either rip a copy of it or i'll get a copy of it before i return back to singapore.

Day off !! Rides and shopping therapy

Today's my second day off since i've started work here over at cedar point. Whahaa, planned to go over to the park for rides and all in the morning, at 930, with a few other guys etc. In the end, only carol and me go together cos Charles wanna sleep more and same goes to ppl like Danny.

Thus i went for the rides with Carol in the morning! Was kinda rush, didn't have time for breakfast manz! whaha, but the rides and all was not too bad. We started off with one of the roller coaster rides!! The highest in the park! the Millenium Force! whaha, that's not too bad, not too bad at all! The first fall is the worst! whaha, it's almost a vertical fall all the way down! Really scary! whaha, wasn't really very prepared for it! but yea, it's fun! whahaa

Took the mantis after that, that's also a crazy ride! Really, the ride was done standing up! whhaa, it's siao lar! then there's alll those bumps and turns! Argh... My ears hurts after that! WHahaa

We also took a really stupid ride, it's some stupid kiddy ride whereby one of us will try to drive a car! It's really slow and all, so it's really boring The route is rather long as well manz! Look at carol there! whahaa

Took a few more rides after Carol left for work. Took the rides with a few of the thais and Danny. Whwhahaaa. Kinda weird taking rides with them cos i am not really close to them all what, so there's nothing to tlak about ! whahaa, luckily it's only for a while cos Danny's going back to work and i'm leaving for Sandusky mall after taing the rides. Took this really stupid Skyride with Danny. SEe above! it's just like cable car that runs through the length of the park! hwhhaaaa, that's really lame!

Anyway got to the Sandusky mall with Charles in the afternoon. Spent like 2-3 hours there shopping. I bought 4 tops! 2 JAckets and 2 Polo tees over at the mall in one of the shop -- aeropostale. The stuff there was really cheap, think they have some sale etc over there, that's why. I spent like 50+ over there! It's close to 80 Sing dollars! whahaaa, i didn't even realise untill now! whhaaa

Depression

At the recreation centre now. Feeling really lousy and all. Fuck!! Feel really down and all, how i wish i could cry it out, it's really help! haiz.

Don't ask me why i'm feeling depressed etc, i always am, always. What's the cause of it i really don't know. I was okay just an hour ago, but why am i ike this now? Damn!! REally hated this feeling.

Damned! getting depressed cos of nothing? Weird isn't it? There might be a few reasons which i shall not talk about it here, it's too personal.

One of which which i can mention is because of carol. I asked if i can join for some games but she said 'no' to me outright. I know she don't reallly mean it but i'm really very pissed. Seriously mad. Not gonna talk to anyone!

No one really truly appreciate me. SEriously. Hated that feeling.

See? Here i go aggain!! It's always others' fault and not mine??? BULLSHIT!! It's always my fault and not the others!! Couldn't be that everyone's always treating me the same way, so it must be me as i'm the only thing thta's constant here!! Im the FUCKING PRoblem!!!

ARGH......!! This is so frustrating, i'm gonna go back to my apartment and have some peace by myself! Hated this !

Work - Teddy Bear Company

WAs late for work this morning again! Forever late, everyday! Really bad employee huh?? Whahahaaa. I'm more clever today! went over to the merchandies office this morning to confirm where i'm working at before walking over to the Candle shop cos i know that i'll definitely not beworking over at the cadle shop for sure. AS i've said, i am indeed not going to Candle shop but to the spooky hollow.

Upon arrival at the Frontiertown area, CAssandra told me that i will be opening up 'teddy bear' instead of spooky hollow!! Whahahaaa. SEe how bad the management is? SUx!! Big time! Really amaze that things are not been straighten out even though everyone knows of the existence of the problem,! it's nt like someone calld in sick etc which cause them to have to swap ppeople ard! It's not! They know that they don't have enough people at certain shop but they do nothhing to plan etc so that there'll be people there! That's really rubbish! Stop it! My schedule says that i'm suppose to work over at the Cadle shop everyday but i'm working everywhere else but the candle shop!!
But on the whle, the tebby bears are kinda cute and all, u get to fill in the cotton urself and also can bring 'clothes' for the teddy bears and all. so yea! whaha

Drink at Grand's place

Went over to the Thai Guy's room on Sunday night. Really sian and bored, that's why i went over. They were all drinking then therefore i joined them. Spent 1.50 dollar on 3 cans of beer, that's like how cheap manz ? whahhaaa. Quite a number of ppl's there! Keng and Lay was there as well! It's like the first time that i saw them there! Quite fun. Danny was playing the guitar and all, he's damn good manz, but too bad he don't really play poo songs and all. The guys are really good, they even prepared some finger food to go along with the drinks! whahaa, so nice of them to do that!

Air plane's Food.

Below are all the pictures of the food served on the Korea Air flight that i was on to New york, Hope that u'll like it and will inspire you to take a Korean flight the next time round! whahaaa --Free advertisement for Korean air, Hey there! Wanna give me some money for helping u to advertise ?? wahhaaa This is a Korean food i guess. Steamed rice and some other ingredients mixed with some chilli sauce. kinda funny huh? It taste rather alright, not too bad and all, but it's funny! whhahaaa. This is a snack, not an actual meal. kinda nice.. Some spicy salmon sushi thingy. Rather interesting. but don't really know the correct way of eating it, so i kinda made a mess outta it! whahaaMy favourite drink's below! Know what is it? Whahaa, their bottle's so much nicer than those we find in Singapore right ?? WHahaa, i'm juts trying to be difficult i guess.this can be say to be the most interesting thing served on the flight. It's some green tea milkshake of what, i can't really remember, it taste rather creamy and sweet but it have a tint of bitterness as well, rather hard to describe, personally, i don't like it. So yea....
